Inspiration

This Salvador Dalí painting was one of the inspirations for my current book title.

Dancer-skull-dali.jpg

Duality. Multiple perspectives. Opposing silhouettes. Mind & body. Death & life.

Dance was an important theme throughout many of Dalí’s works (from what I’ve read). And for me, dance has and always will influence my writing. Whether I’m watching a beautiful ballet performance or just out with a group of friends, dance brings me joy.

I’m fascinated when I read the origin behind a book’s title. And even though my title may change, this painting continues to guide my overall vision.
